"This is an amazing book!" a
quote from my 17 year old daughter. This is a hard book to
review because it is absolutely one of my all time, way up there,
favorites!
There is truly no equal to this
depiction of southern life and courtroom drama.
Through the eyes of Scout, a
young, motherless, tom-boy, southern racism is played out in a small
town, 1930's setting. That theme is masterfully interwoven
with one of the most delightful and whimsical picture of a young
girls escapades and troubles!
Funny, thought provoking,
heart-wrenching...
(feel free to add more adjectives in your own review of this book).
Major question for all who read
this book--Who is the Mockingbird?
Are there more than one?
~Happy Reading
After the book ~ The movie is
extraordinary!
