Prairie Trail Museum
and
Tharp Cemetery

One of the most important sites in Iowa to see is Tharp Cemetery (Southeast of Seymour). It is where "Come, Come Ye Saints" was written. A panel and plaque are placed there by the county and the church.

The Prairie Trail Museum features a 3/4 size rendition of an ox-drawn wagon, an audio commentary of William Clayton's writing the hymn "Come, Come Ye Saints"
