Rebecca Winter's Grave

Rebecca Winter was a pioneer traveling along the Mormon trail. when she died a friend engraved her name and the date of her death on an iron wagon wheel and used it as her tombstone. The railroad, not wanting to move it, changed it's plans, but it was later moved, and can now be visited. It is on private property but permission to visit the site may be obtained by calling 308-632-2133 or 800-788-9475
